in regards to my work situation...

well, kids - i wrote my "two-weeks-or-so notice" note at work today. jamie will see it in the morning. he knew this was coming eventually, so i don't think he'll have a heart attack or anything. though it might catch him a bit off-guard... it's time for change. as most of you know, i've been doing this barista thing for a little over three years. it was a transitional job. three years of transition is long enough. it's very affirming to me that most everyone to whom i mention this whole getting-a-new-job thing gives me an incredibly positive response. arielle even told me that, she having happened to mention to mrs. reklis that i was going to be looking for another job, got something along the lines of a "good - it's about time for her to move on" sort of thing. my resume is almost complete. i'm going to be doing a bit of filing work for arielle tomorrow night, just as something relevant to add to my experiences. i've emailed what i already had to heather for her to look over. arielle will help me with some of the wording, too. steph is dying to take me shopping for work clothes. i am so profoundly grateful for all the help and support i've received from these and others. i'm going to take them all out to dinner once it's all over and i've made some money. hold me to that, would you? and to all of you, who continually cheer me on and encourage me: you mean the world to me. when i've accumulated some wealth, i'll take you all out to dinnner, too. just remind me, okay?
