these silly apartment people need to give me some storm windows... seriously, my room is about five or ten degrees colder than the rest of the apartment.
also, i'm kinda tired. funny how a couple nine- or ten-hour car trips in a week will do that to you... but thanksgivingness is worth it.
what am i thankful for? God has done a heck of a lot in my life since last year (as some of you can certainly bear witness), so definitely all of that. and all He continues to do. and all of you.
so, yes, i am cold and tired and getting over the tail-end of a sinus infection. but this too shall pass. and i'm thankful for that too. thankful for the certainty that with God at work (though it may seem sometimes to take longer than we might think it should) things will always get better. fears will be cast out by perfect love. anxieties will be proven groundless. the flesh will continually die, and ground be taken for the Kingdom - not by might, nor by power (for we wrestle not against flesh and blood), but by the Spirit, and by Christ in us, the hope of glory.

Agreed, thankfulness for the certainty that God is and gives is the stuff of beautiful hopes.
