come on, summer!
i know this might sound a bit strange, but i can't wait till we get some good ol' humidity back in here. everyone's always (yes, yes, a wee bit of hyperbole) complaining about the humidity, but honestly i just hate being so dry. it's a struggle for me to drink enough water (or at least a halfway decent amount) as it is, and to have my skin drying out almost as badly as in a new england winter over the past couple months, despite my best efforts (feeble though they be), is rather disheartening and really just plain uncomfortable. i slacked on sunday. really didn't make much of an effort to stay hydrated. even drank a cherry coke with lunch. so really it's my fault i woke up this morning at 3:45 am, not because i was hot or (more usual) cold, not because of some crazy dream, but because i was so dry... i'm not saying i'm not to blame in that. i am. but it'll just be nice when the environment is a little more on my side...

and in case any of you were wondering, i've been drinking even better this week. at least my usual 32 oz. on wednesday, and at least 48 on monday, tuesday, and yesterday! it's usually the routineless weekends that trip me up...so we'll see how it goes. (;
I'll see if I can't find a gnome that'll remid you to drink your water in addition to augmenting your facebook experience and being windows certified.
