chilly

supposedly it's 75 degrees in here right now. i don't believe it for a minute.

75 sounds good.

i'm cold. not bone-chillingly frozen. just chilly enough to be slightly uncomfortable. this is fairly normal for me. it's probably the main reason i'm such a big fan of sweaters. in fact, i'm wearing a sweater right now, though it's a fairly light one...

HA! i knew the little bugger was lying to me - just went back to the kitchen to make some hot cider (ahhhhhh, that feels good going down!) and now the thermostat says it's 73. before long it's sure to realize it's not 71, either, and the heat will kick on...

i'm feeling today like i hate march. mostly because i'm cold. and there isn't really much in the way of sweaters in stores anymore, because they've been pushed out to make room for the new spring collections...there don't even seem to be all that many left on clearance racks at this point. and it's not like i don't have sweaters. if i got a couple new ones, though, i'd feel justified in getting rid of (read: donating to goodwill or something) a couple that i really don't wear anymore, because they're really kind of too short, but i probably bought them because they looked halfway decent and were on sale...

*sigh* i hate it when i whine. but i also hate being cold. and i love sweaters. if you're taking notes (haha) i'm a big fan of a cowlneck or a deep vee, would love a good gray cardigan, can't get enough black, or blue, or green... also, there is no way (except once - a random boxy walmart sweater) that anything marked "small" is going to fit me. i only mention this because of a certain christmas present i received this year... *sigh* i really can be sort of difficult to fit. better make sure you get a gift receipt with that. not that i won't at least appreciate the thought.

72.

okay. seriously. it would be so easy to order a couple... jcpenney's got some good-lookin' ones on sale...

73.

alright, fine. i'll be good.

this time.

Well, I'm okay with you being a little on the inclined-to-get-cold side because it means I get to be your personal heater. Granted, I can't always be around and it distresses me to think you might be out there somewhere, chilled to the bone, therefore I endorse your sweater-addiction as a method of helping reduce my descent into gray-hairitude. Also, you look good in sweaters q;

i appreciate your endorsement of my addiction, sweetie. i really do. does me good to know my purchasing a sweater or two here and there won't have you sighing and shaking your head. at least, not too much. c;
